The Wine:
Lovely deep red with purple hues, the aromatics are very floral and perfumed and leap out of the glass full with morello cherry, pomegranate, black raspberry and sweet rosehip. The palate is juicy and full of dark red fruits with layers of raspberry, black cherry, blood orange—it is concentrated and powerful. Lovely plush, silky tannin and fine acidity frames the wine and whilst this wine is made for immediate enjoyment it will cellar well for at least 5 years.

The Review:
Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion - 96pts
"Mostly MV6. 5% bunches, 20% new oak. Very bright crimson. Aromatic with a bouquet of red fruits, poached rhubarb, rose petal and spice. Fleshy and energetic on the palate with fine, silky tannins. Medhurst's calling card is in great form. A delicious wine to drink now through the next 5-7 years."
